FAQs

How long do I have to take the herbs?

If you have an acute condition that just developed recently, two to three days of our herbal therapy should give you complete relief. However, if your condition has been there for a long time, you need to take our herbal remedy for a while to feel the effect.

For example, one of my patients developed acute stomach pain as a result of gastritis and gallbladder stone. I ordered the herbs for her and told her she would feel much better in 2 to 3 days. She felt better in 1 day after taking the herbs three times.

Another male patient had poor sperm quality, he needed to take herbs for at least 2 month to see improvement in his semen analysis. He took my herbs for 2 1/2 month and subsequent semen analysis was much improved.

In clinic, gastro related problems normally respond much quicker with Chinese herbal remedy. For example Crohn’s disease with blood and mucus in stool would respond to herbal remedy in 7 to 10 days. Irritable bowel syndrome would also seem remarkable improvement in 1 to 2 weeks.

It’s very important to live a healthy life style. As an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist, I always emphasize the importance of these fundamentals of  a healthy living: eating healthy food, having peace in mind, sleep well, and be happy. We are always here for you if you need our help but we would rather you love your body, take good care of your body and need us less!

How are these herbs differ from western medicines/drugs?

Herbs are different from pharmaceutical drugs in that pharmaceutical drugs are pure chemicals that are either extracted or synthesized in the lab whose chemical structures, mechanism of action, physiological effects and possible side effects are thoroughly researched on and  clearly understood where else herbs are parts of plants, certain animal products, or minerals that can produce certain physiological effects in human body but whose scientific aspects are not well understood. Most herbs are minimally processed in order to retain their “effective ingredients”. In most clinical cased, a combination of quite a few herbs in different proportions seem to elicit the best effectiveness in elimination the diseases. The side effects of most herbs are none to minimal.
